Flechette (CQB weapon)

The Flechette launcher is used by Imperial Storm troopers as an anti-personnel weapon. It is useful at close range, firings hundreds of razor-sharp flechettes in a wide spread per shot.

Effective at close quarters.
Used by Imperial Storm Troopers (for the Rebel counterpart, see the CR-1 Blaster Cannon)
Takes a longer time to load then most guns
